Story
Facing a world in constant war and violence, a filmmaker embarks on a global search for wisdom — interviewing community leaders, artists, philosophers, historians, humanitarians, and peace activists. Through intimate conversations, the film asks: What does peace mean to you? Is peace on Earth possible? What can we do to make this a more peaceful world?
Resonance
World peace is an ideal that has eluded humanity throughout history. While most people today express a desire for peace, we continue to find ourselves caught in long, painful, and unnecessary wars. History may offer little hope of lasting, universal peace — and yet the ideal persists. We must keep seeking new ways to make the world more peaceful, one act at a time.
Point of View
As this film takes shape, the world is marked by deep and growing tension — from the wars in Israel/Palestine and Ukraine, to overlooked but devastating conflicts in Sudan, Syria, the Congo, and beyond. According to the Geneva Academy, more than 110 armed conflicts are active worldwide.
This film spotlights the individuals and organizations working tirelessly to build peace through intercultural exchange, humanitarian aid, education, and nonviolent activism. Rather than curse the darkness, we aim to light a candle.
Audience
This film is for anyone who believes in a more peaceful world. Our core audience includes members and supporters of peace and social justice organizations worldwide. Their extended communities — families, colleagues, students, and networks — form a second tier.
Our goal is to encourage those already doing the work to feel seen and connected, while inviting those who passively support peace to step into more active roles through local and global engagement.
Participants
We’ve already interviewed a number of inspiring people from diverse backgrounds — authors, artists, faith leaders, educators, and professionals — all united by a commitment to peace. More interviews are scheduled in the coming months. Each voice adds to a growing tapestry of insight, action, and hope.

Distribution
The film will be submitted to a wide range of film festivals — including thematic festivals like the Global Peace Film Festival and general festivals such as the Dallas International Film Festival. We will also partner with local chapters of humanitarian and peace organizations to host community screenings across the U.S. and abroad, starting with groups featured in the film and expanding to others aligned with our mission.
Following the festival and screening tour, we plan to submit the film to major streaming platforms for global release. Promotion will include social media campaigns, partner collaborations, and outreach to relevant media outlets.
Activism
Our website and social media platforms will feature all participating organizations, with clear next steps for viewers who want to engage. Whether through donations, volunteering, organizing, or education, the goal is to connect inspired viewers with actionable ways to join the global movement for peace and justice.
